Acupuncture
uses the principles of the Chinese Meridian system and is based on Yin and Yang, as well as the five elements theory: fire, earth, metal, water, and wood. Our energy (Ki) flows through a network of small tsubos (points similar to mini chakras) along the meridians in the body. Fine needles are used to harmonize the body. Normally, it is not painful; however, occasionally a small bruise may occur.
